How To Make N2m with N50,000 in One Year With Pawpaw Farming

Do you know many people today neglected the opportunity of becoming an employer, because of lack of proper orientation of what farming entails? Are you thinking of what to do with the little money you have? Why not try investing the money into pawpaw farming? Its not capital intensive and at the same time yields huge profit.

Register Your Business

Go to any corporate affair commission(C.A.C) that is closer to you, pick a registration form with them at the maximum rate of N1,000, fill the form accordingly and summit the filled form with them.  It doesn't matter the address you use in the registration process as such you can use your house address but what really matters is locating you at the given address. After three months go back to the same office you register the company and collect the certificate with a maximum token of N600.00.

Open A Business Account

Go to a near by bank were you can easily access your money, open an account with them, using your company name and address. The account must be a current account, because a time will come when more money will be entering into the account during the time you will be harvesting your products the management of the bank may want to know the source of your finance.

Raising pawpaw seed

Meet with farmers who are into massive pawpaw farming in the rural area attract them with little money  of about N50 for ten cups of pawpaw seed, and give a bonus to a person who can supply up to 100cups. This will motivate people to store pawpaw seed to get such bonus. Then after buying much seeds, dry the seed in the sun light and ensure no water is left at the surface. Store up the seeds in a rubber keg and don't use metal material as a storing device.

Skills Dissemination

Do you have the skills required for the farming system? this should not be an excuse of not excelling in the business, all you need to do is, you rent workers who can do the job very well, and pay them. These set of people have the knowledge and are practically oriented in following the processes, but because of lack of capital and personal zeal they prefer getting a daily pay. You can use the advantage of such people.

Procedures  

Get a piece of land, clear it and burn the refuge to ashes. Then plant your pawpaw seed 5metres away from each other. After one or two months, clear the weeds  around the crops and do not dispose the refuge, but allow it to decay. This will serve as a manure to the land. After two more months, start transplanting the pawpaw to some places were you feel the gap is more than 5meters. During the transplanting process only two stand should be left in the planted spot reason been that one of the two left may be a male. When you are done with refilling the spaces in your farmland, there are people out there whose seed are not well germinated the way it was planted, this is were you earn the first income.
At this point in time, you need to advertise your sucker. and you can reduce the price to N10 per sucker and you will make thousands of naira. Though this is not were you are aiming at. After three months buy a chemical called uproot, force up or any other herbicides chemical to spray the land. This will help the crops to be balance and ready for production. after six months, apply the same chemical to spray the plot. in the next three weeks, you will see the production interesting then allow for three more  months for it to be strong and start ripping. 

Marketing Your Products

Go to  media house, pay them to advertise your product drop with them the name and address of your farm, and you will be surprise to see people in different locations finding you out. you can also go to the market were people normally sell pawpaw, use the advantage of your large quantity to secure customers, by biting down your price with N500 but don't kill the competition because it keep you the entrepreneur on your toes.  Print a receipt bearing your company name to give a brand to your product, with this while others are strangling looking for who will buy their product you will be issuing out receipt to drivers to go to your farm and load their vehicles.

Growth Path

The growth path of any business is always predicated on the vision of wanting to be the best in town. This can be achieve by producing the best quality with a taste of excellence. You can set your goal on re-investing almost all your profit into the business by disciplining yourself to delay gratification or valency. It is  germane to state that the entrepreneur who is able to delay gratifying himself/herself the pleasure and ploughs back all his/her profit into the business has a higher chance of growing the business faster than that of an entrepreneur who pleasure himself/herself from the proceeds of the business, especially at the early stage of the business.

Build A Brand

Building a brand name is another crucial point you must not under-estimate, while building your brand name you must try all possible effort to direct your product in line with your brand. In the words of Alhaji Aliko Dangote he said "one competitive advantage I had when I ventured into manufacturing was my brand "DANGOTE" which I diligently built in the course of trading commodities", coca cola's assets were estimated to be worth $3billions, but the brand name alone "coca cola" was valued at over $8billions, that is the power of brand. 


   Therefor to be a successful entrepreneur you must have a brand because it could turn out to be a very strong competitive advantage for your small business.
