Getting started
There are two primary aspects of website creation.
1 web designing.
2 web developer.
The two are responsible for the visual aspect, the layout, coloring and typography of a webpage. Another important aspect of web design is a workable knowledge in languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and flash.
CSS Box Shadow
Cascading style sheets (CSS) is a style sheet language used for describing the look and formatting of a document written in a mark up language. It could be made only when your browser supports the CSS shadow property. You can make as many shadows as possible using the same code for a single shadow. But you have to separate them by their values, definitions and commas, using the x-offset and y-offset values.
Your page layout
The consistency of the site's page layout in different pages is the decision of the designer. However, aligning objects in the layout design is important. New windows, screen resolution, and monitor sizes require adaptable websites. Therefore, page pixel width should be used for flexibility.
When using fluid layout as an alternative to to HTML table based or grid based. Break your design into units so that browsers can fit it into the display window. Browsers have the capacity to make needed adjustments in fluid layout.
Your Typography
Designers are always tempted to use multiple typefaces, but the ideal thing is limiting to one or two at most. This will help you to avoid complications. However, exploring colors and different typefaces (font sizes) will help you to choose the best for your design.
Coding
Every element of coding has a specified function that enables the technical quality of a webpage. It differs according to the text mark up language, e.g HTML, CSS, JavaScript, etc. However, your website would not be unusable or error prone if the coding is not right. But W3C develops technical specifications and guidelines through a process designed to maximize consensus about the content of a technical report, to enable high technical quality, and to earn endorsement by W3C and the broader community. However, windows based platforms find it easier to use PHP in developing a sophisticated web design.
Categorize
When you have put all these into place, including the website theme. Categorize your menu. Put everything according to their differences, e.g
Cars.
Movies.
News.
Ads,etc.
The form in which your website will take (Grid based or not) is totally yours.
Make it social.
The accessibility of every website depends on what it has to offer, and how much people know about it. Search engine Optimization (SEO) and attaching social media links to your website will help you to achieve that. Always look for that which is not working right. And most of all, make room for feedback.
