Tips To Dressing For That Business Meeting

Dressing up is what many people love doing but some have gained mastery over knowing what to wear, how to wear it? And where to wear it.I feel very concernef when i see people attend some functions/occassion with what i view as a wrong attire.
I  was with a friend sometimes ago, when a young lady walked in for an interview. She arrived quite late and dressed down for the appointment,she appear casual it was as if that meeting wasn't important to her, but it may not be true, believe me that meeting really mattered to the lady. Well, how she appeared contributed to her not being hired.

How You Looks:

Please, don't let your looks stop you from having that business you dreamed and worked very hard to have.remember that popular saing which says "people address you the way you dress". it is not that you outfit must be expensive to look business like.

Avoid Being Under dress:

Appearing casual is unethical,it show lack of respect for the meeting and speaks greatly about your person.just like the lady that was mentioned above in this article.

• First, Decide on what to wear and get it ready. if you wish to get a new ones, you can go shopping for it weeks or days away from the meeting date.reason,being to have time to try it on and check the fits. if,it  is your  already have "cloth". check  it to ensure that it is in a good shape and fit still. 

• Avoid wearing ill-fitted cloths:

  It is important that you were what you are comfortably in,if you cloth is too big,taking it to a tailor reduce it to size,small up top, has a dragging hem or could be a little snugger around the waist… take it to a tailor,alter that may cost extra money, i feel its better than looking as if one is swimming inside a cloth. 
• Also, appearing smart to any meeting, especially to a business meeting is key. Are you wearing an English cloths? a shirt and pant a corporate shoe and a jacket,wont be a bad choice.Also, if you are wear a tradional clothing, please make sure that you appear clean and comfortable,that increases your confident level.

How your face appears is important too,cutting your hair and shaving your beards  can give you a good look,if you are a man.if, you are a lady, having a light make-up is advisably.

Avoid overdressing:

•  Again, don't overdress ,it necessary that right jewellery is put on.A moderate size earring is suitable than a long big dangling earring.

• Perfume, when applying a fragrance put the interest of the person you are meeting with in view, modest will equally help to achieve that.

• Do not show much skin,many men , may be tempted to expose their chest,do not forget you are going for a business/formal meeting not a party.Ladies, should be careful in their choose of clothing, is it tight, very revealing? have it in mind that you are on a business meeting not on a seduction mission.

 

Actually, having a kind of reminder, an alarm, apager, a dairy, whatever that can enable you to remember that you have an appointment., is very important.Being at the meeting venue  like 30 minutes before the time it fine,to help you settle in both mentally and otherwise.Do not forget there is no chance to change first impression.Take your time,be organize, dress right and seal the deal.
